Visits to: Anthropological National Museum – The Wall of the Fallen - The Central America Independence Monument – View-Point of San Salvador City and Handcraft Gallery
The tour will start at 12:00 noon making the departure from San Salvador city. We will drive through the streets and avenues of the city until we arrive to Santa Elena; a beautiful residential area where we will have lunch at the restaurant El Cantaro. After this we will visit the National Anthropological Museum Dr. David J. Guzman, where we will be able to have a guided tour in this interesting historical location. We will continue our tour through La Zona Rosa where you will be able to find everything to satisfy your night life; Paseo General Escalon, until we arrive to the monument of the Divino Salvador del Mundo, placed in Plaza Las Americas. Then we will continue the tour until we arrive to the monument of the Fallen Victims during the war; which is found in Park Cuscatlan, considered to be one of the most important cries in the country, where we will have the opportunity to appreciate the monument; than our tour shall continue through Los Heroes Boulevard, Alameda Juan Pablo II and Centro de Gobierno until we arrive to National Historical Centre which will bring us very close to the Metropolitan Cathedral and to the National Palace; when we finish we will visit the monument of Central American Independence, which is found in a plaza that bares its same name, found within the premises of the famous historical El Zapote military base. And to finish our tour we shall go to a view-point located in Planes de Renderos, which will place us at an altitude of 1000 mts above sea level that will give us the most magnificent view of the city and also access to a gallery of hand crafted artifacts.
